Procedure for Piercing the Nape
|
Step 1:
The area is carefully measured and marked. it is then cleaned
and shaven if necessary. |
|
Step 2:
After the skin is marked and cleaned it is held with forceps and
the needle is quickly pushed through at the mark.
|
|
Step 3:
After removing the forceps the needle should be centered. |
|
Step
4:
Monofilament is
then placed through the needle as it is too flexible to push
the needle through (Trust me I’ve tried it). |
|
Step 5:
The monofilament is then shortened leaving 1/8 to 1/4 leeway on
both ends.

Take care of your piercing!! |

Please be advised that these step by step views of the above procedure
are in no way intended for teaching. They are general ideas for those
of you who wonder how it's done. Piercers do vary in their own style
so you may come across some differences but the basics should be the same.
